USE OF GROW WALKIES SECURE DOG FIELDS
These Terms and Conditions ("Conditions") govern the use of Grow Walkies secure dog fields and form part of the legally binding agreement between Grow Walkies ("Grow Walkies", "we", "us", "our") and the person making the booking ("Client", "you", "your").
By making a booking and/or using the facilities, you agree to be bound by these Conditions.
1. General Conditions
1.1 Grow Walkies reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion, to permit or prohibit any activity on its land.
1.2 Bookings are personal to the Client and may not be transferred, assigned, sub-let, or otherwise shared with any third party without prior written consent from Grow Walkies.
1.3 Vehicles must only be parked in the designated parking areas.
1.4 All dogs must be appropriately vaccinated (where applicable) and in good health prior to using any Grow Walkies facilities.
1.5 Clients must not climb, sit, stand, or otherwise interfere with any gates, fences, posts, or other structures on site.
1.6 The Client acknowledges that use of the facility is entirely at their own risk. Grow Walkies accepts no liability for injury, death, loss, or damage to persons, animals, vehicles, or property arising from the use of the facilities, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
1.7 Dogs must not be permitted to dig. Any attempt to dig must be stopped immediately. The Client must fill any holes created by their dog(s). In the event of significant damage, the Client must notify Grow Walkies without delay and may be liable for repair costs.
1.8 The field is enclosed by approximately 2-metre-high fencing with ground returns. While reasonable measures have been taken to secure the perimeter, Grow Walkies does not guarantee that the field is escape-proof. Clients are responsible for assessing whether the facility is suitable for their dog(s), particularly where dogs are capable of jumping, climbing, or digging.
1.9 Clients must not use the premises for any unlawful or illegal activity. Any such activity will result in immediate termination of access and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
2. Entrance & Exit Procedure
2.1 In the event of an emergency, Clients must contact the emergency number displayed on site.
2.2 Clients must not arrive more than five (5) minutes prior to their scheduled booking time.
2.3 If another vehicle is present or the field is still in use, Clients must remain inside their vehicle with their dog(s) until the previous user has vacated the field and secured their dog(s) inside their vehicle.
2.4 If the previous user has not vacated the premises by the start of your booking time, please contact Grow Walkies on 01992 911 333.
2.5 These procedures are strictly enforced to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all dogs and users.
3. Weather & Grounds Conditions
3.1 Fields remain open in most weather conditions.
3.2 Clients use the facilities entirely at their own risk and are responsible for determining whether weather and ground conditions are suitable.
3.3 Ground conditions may be uneven, wet, muddy, frozen, slippery, or otherwise hazardous due to seasonal or weather-related factors.
3.4 Grow Walkies accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from weather conditions, natural ground conditions, or environmental factors.
3.5 Grow Walkies reserves the right to close the fields in extreme weather conditions (including but not limited to flooding, high winds, snow, or unsafe ground conditions). Where closures occur, bookings may be rescheduled at our discretion.
4. Payment
4.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking via the online booking system.
4.2 Payments are processed via Stripe and may be made using debit/credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
4.3 Bookings are non-refundable. Clients may amend or reschedule a booking up to twelve (12) hours prior to the scheduled session via the online booking system.
5. Refusal of Booking & Re-Scheduling of Appointments
5.1 Clients may reschedule appointments via the online system with a minimum of twelve (12) hours’ notice.
5.2 Requests for rescheduling within twelve (12) hours of the booking time are at the sole discretion of Grow Walkies.
5.3 Failure to attend a booking ("no show") or early departure does not entitle the Client to a refund or credit.
5.4 Grow Walkies reserves the right to refuse any booking without providing a reason.
5.5 Grow Walkies reserves the right to withdraw permission to use the facilities at any time. In exceptional circumstances, Grow Walkies may, at its sole discretion, refund payments made. Grow Walkies shall not be liable for any additional costs, expenses, or losses incurred by the Client as a result of cancellation.
6. Noise & Site Conduct
All Clients agree to comply with the following site rules:
6.1 No slamming of vehicle doors.
6.2 No use of vehicle horns.
6.3 Vehicle engines must be switched off when stationary.
6.4 Maximum speed on site is 10 mph.
6.5 Car stereos and radios must be turned off while on site.
6.6 No excessive shouting.
6.7 No excessive use of whistles and no voice amplification equipment.
6.8 Clients must take reasonable steps to avoid over-exciting dogs and minimise excessive barking.
Failure to comply may result in withdrawal of access without refund.
7. Acceptable Breeds
7.1 Grow Walkies accepts all dogs and breeds in accordance with current UK legislation.
7.2 The fields are private facilities hired for exclusive use during the booked session.
7.3 Breeds subject to specific legal requirements (including but not limited to XL Bully types) are permitted within the secure field without lead or muzzle, provided such use complies with applicable law.
7.4 In car park and communal areas, dogs subject to legal controls must remain on a lead and muzzled as required by law.
7.5 Clients must take reasonable steps to avoid crossover with other users when arriving and departing, particularly where dogs may require additional management.
